Course Description 

The WTSMS Symposium provides a forum for Sports Medicine Specialists to learn about and discuss concepts related to preventing, treating, and rehabilitating injured athletes and patients. 

Course Objectives 

By the end of the program, participants will be able to: 

1. Understand common injuries in the athlete’s throwing elbow. 

2. Recognize acute abdominal injuries in the athletic population. 

3. Obtain a thorough understanding of Lisfranc injuries. 

4. Identify signs of professional burnout and learn about available mental health resources. 

5. Understand biomechanical deficits in post-operative ACL patients and implement strategies for improving outcomes
